Help us use AI without losing our authentic voice

We are a two-person team with too much to do and no clear starting point for using AI well. We have seen AI used badly, and we want to avoid tools or outputs that feel generic, cheap, or off-brand.

ADVICE   CALL

WHAT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH

  • Diagnose where AI could realistically reduce busy work in our current processes.
  • Recommend 1-2 tools that fit a two-person team with limited budget and limited experimentation capacity.
  • Advise on how we can use AI without weakening Sweet Life’s personal, authentic voice.
  • Help us decide which tasks are safe to hand over or support with AI, and which should stay human-led.
  • Suggest a simple first step we can test without getting distracted by too many options.

OUR SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

  1. Which parts of our work should we ask an AI agent or AI tool to help with?
  2. Which 1-2 tools should we seriously consider using day to day?
  3. What is a simple, low-risk way for us to get started?

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

We have seen too much AI done badly, especially in graphics and writing that looks AI-generated and cheapens a brand.

Bridget is more resistant to changing our current process, while Shiara is more open to it, but we have not found a practical way to incorporate AI that actually makes our work better.

We have two set-in-stone campaigns each year, and the rest of our work is flexible, which creates room to improve but also makes time management feel nebulous. There is always too much to do for a two-person team.

Worth noting:
  • Our budget is limited. We do not mind paying for a tool if it is clearly worth it, but we do not want to experiment with multiple paid tools.
  • Our team capacity is two people.
  • We want to keep Sweet Life’s deep personal authenticity intact.

HOW YOUR HELP WILL IMPACT US

Our team is small but mighty, with the heart and skills to do the work, but not always the time to do it as well as we want to. Clear advice will help us use our time better, improve our confidence with AI, and make better decisions about where AI belongs in our work.

Wins we’re targeting:
  • We leave with 1-2 tools we should seriously consider using daily.
  • We understand which parts of our work AI can assist with, and how.
  • We feel reassured that using AI will not make us lose our authenticity.

THE RIGHT VOLUNTEER

  • Someone with practical Technology, Marketing, or Operations experience who can help a small team separate useful AI workflows from distracting shiny tools.
  • Comfortable recommending simple, low-budget tools and explaining how they fit into daily work without adding complexity.
  • Able to think about brand voice and authenticity, especially how AI can support rather than replace human judgement.
  • Bonus: experience helping small teams adopt AI in a simple, sustainable way.
